About me

I studied animal science (zootecnia) at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Medellín campus. I like mathematics, especially probability theory, which is why I pursued graduate studies in statistics. I became interested in data science competitions and, for a while, I was an active participant on platforms such as Kaggle, Zindi (Africa), DataSource (Latin America), among others.

I am fascinated by ants and the complexity underlying them and other social insects; for that reason, for some years now I have been interested in complexity science and emergent systems. I enjoy building software, I have fun with computer simulations, and philosophy is a persistent passion.

I work with data analysis, building solutions that include, among other things, machine learning (artificial intelligence) and a lot of statistics. I like agentic systems and the automation capabilities that emerge from all these technologies.
